About the event

It said the theatre is haunted by numerous spirits including victorian children, actors, former workers who roam between the stalls and even the spirit of a serial killer! Reported incidents of a rampaging ghostly serial killer, spectral children and many spiritual "luvvie" actors, this aint one for the faint hearted this event comes with free hot refreshments and snacks. The Savoy Theatre In Monmouth is a Grade II listed building standing on the former tavern called the Bell Inn which was built in 1849 In 1928, the site was rebuilt as the New Picture House, marking its golden cinema age. Rebranded as the Regal in 1971, it closed in the 1980s before reopening as The Savoy in 1995 . One of the most common reports involves a spectral woman dressed in period clothing, believed to be connected to the building's 19th-century history. Another notable figure is a ghostly man thought to be a former manager or performer from its early theatre days. Some say they've seen shadowy figures in the auditorium or felt an eerie presence while alone in the theatre. These stories have led the Savoy to be considered one of Wales' haunted venues, drawing paranormal enthusiasts and ghost hunters intrigued by its supernatural lore.
