About the event
Graiseley Old Hall is one of the oldest surviving houses in Wolverhampton, with its origins dating back to the late medieval period, potentially as early as the 14th century, The hall earned its chilling nickname, "The House That Cries," after a 1980's BBC Midlands News report highlighted the unexplained phenomenon of clean pools of water forming indoors with no obvious source, as though the house itself was weeping.
Witnesses have heard disembodied footsteps, low, indistinct voices, and doors rattling or slamming shut,
Homeowners and guests have experienced poltergeist-type disturbances, such as small items being moved, cold spots, and door handles turning on their own. The fleeting figure of a small boy has been seen near a fireplace, and a sorrowful female apparition is also reported, The cellar in particular, is noted for its heavy, oppressive atmosphere, This is not for the faint hearted book if you dare.
